Richard Zuber, Director

Richard has more than 15 years of experience in the electrical field, having owned and operated businesses in England and Australia.

Originally qualified in England, Richard began operating his first business in 2001, specialising in the commercial and construction sectors throughout London, the Midlands and South Yorkshire.

After returning to Australia and acquiring further professional qualifications and accreditations, Richard became a founding partner of leading Australian LED lighting manufacturer and supplier, Prolume. As Prolume has continued to grow, Richard has expanded his expertise into lighting innovation and product development.

Working for a diverse array of clients including Goodman, Mirvac, Colliers, CBRE, Knight Frank and the Heathly Group, Richard’s extensive experience and expertise in lighting, data and technology systems and structured cabling mean he is well equipped to lead your facility’s energy retrofit project.

Steve Braithwaite, Director

Steve is a qualified Electrical Engineer with more than 20 years of experience structuring complex business and financial arrangements for major corporate and government clients in Australia, Hong Kong, UK and USA. 

Steve was part of the team founding Prolume in 2012, supporting product design, marketing and business strategy.  He is joint-holder of two low-energy electrical design patents, and a passionate advocate for sustainable energy industry development.

He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical & Electronic) (Hons) from Canterbury University NZ, and a Master of Business Administration from Kellogg, Chicago and AGSM, Sydney.

Peter Collins, Director

Peter has more than 30 years of experience working as an electrician in NSW.

In 1987, Peter completed his Electrical Trades with Honours, and was awarded the NSW Leading Electrical Mechanic Apprenticeship. Peter also graduated with Honours for the Industrial Electronics Certificate.

In 1989 Peter began his own business, Peter Collins Electrical Services, which has operated for the past 26 years, specialising in the commercial and industrial sectors.

In 2012 Peter became a founding partner in the development of Prolume, supporting its development of manufacturing, supplying and installing low-energy LED lighting solutions for the commercial, industrial and strata sectors.
