The carpark ramp lighting Upgrade project commenced in February. It saw the existing twin T8 fluorescent lighting replaced by Prolume’s 30 watt Australian made and patented carpark batten lights. These lights sit directly over the existing footprints and require minimal drilling during the installation. The Prolume installation did not require any remedial works or extending of conduits.
The battens were fixed on the internal ramps at heights of up to 9 metres. Lighting levels improved from 35 Lux to 120 lux at ground level. Energy savings are approximately 70%.
