Project Detail
Prolume was pleased to be awarded the contract for a significant lighting upgrade at Market Square Carpark, Lane Cove, Sydney.
The Carpark Lighting Upgrade project commenced in June, and was completed by Mid-June. It saw the existing twin T5 fluorescent lighting replaced by Prolume’s Australian made and patented carpark batten lights. These lights sit directly over the existing footprints and require minimal drilling during the installation. The Prolume installation did not require any remedial paintwork or extending of conduits.
Products Used
The Carparks existing 380 twin T5 fluorescent lights which were replaced with Prolumes’ ultra-efficient Australian made carpark batten lights which draw around 22w. Not only were there improved energy savings but also light output as lux levels on ground were improved from an average of 32 lux before project commencement to 52 lux after completion. Because Prolume’s carpark batten lights are the lowest energy drawing lights in the market, they are able to allow for a fully lit carpark still with significant energy savings, while maintaining a safe public carpark meeting all OHS and lighting standard regulations for public carpark areas.
