Prolume achieves Australian Made status

It’s official.  We’re excited to announce that Prolume has been officially included in the Australian Made campaign, License number 7430. The batten light range which includes our patented fire stair and carpark lights has been included on the register of Australian Made products. We can now use the famous Green & Gold Kangaroo on these lights.

This is another step in the Prolume innovation success story. Unlike many competitors importing outdated and poor-quality Chinese products, Prolume truly are Australian owned and Australian made.  Australian made products currently account for around 80 percent of our sales. While there’s a place for imported products, Prolume is proof that Australian manufacturing is alive and well and should be supported wholeheartedly by the local lighting industry. We’re proud to support Australian industry and Australian jobs.

On the back of our success with the batten range of products, we are developing a number of other leading concepts for lighting in commercial, industrial and strata applications.  Our research and development team are working toward carbon negative technology for your buildings. Our aim is to provide your buildings with the lowest possible carbon footprint from its lighting.

Nearly every component in Prolume lights can be purchased over the counter at your local electrical wholesaler, nationwide. What this means for you is that there will never be a problem in the future trying to find parts once the warranty period has expired.
